Deviation Actions
I have recently, and unfortunately, have come across a few people who have a love for 2Nu, but feel they cannot post any art without being ragged on. It's really sad when someone can't love something out of fear of someone else scoffing at them and being rude.
Well I have something to say to those people: It's okay. Post whatever art you want on here! You shouldn't be ashamed of what you love just because someone else may not love it, or even like it at all for that matter. I have come across too many great artist who would post great art, but then no more then a few days later, delete their deviations, just because people were giving them a hard time over it. It's tough, I know. I have come a long way, and it was hard constantly getting bombarded with insults and mean comments over something as harmless and petty as a ship. And it wasn't just the pairing, it was other things too. People are people. People will be mean and cruel as it suits them, that's just how the world is, and is even more so on the internet. In fact, people are WAY meaner on the internet, I've learned, because they are not saying it to your face, so they don't feel threatened, therefore they feel they can act like the biggest assholes they can without consequence. It's sad because kids have become more cruel then ever these days, especially with the development of the internet.
When I was a kid, kids confronted eachother one on one. There was some cyber bullying, back when AIM was popular, but again, at least it was one on one, and not posted where everyone and their dog could see it. And that amount of cyber bullying has nearly tripled since my day, even resulting in suicides from kids as young as 9 to 17. 9! That horrified me.
My point is, please, I encourage, don't delete certain artworks just because others do not approve. I've learned to just shake it off and ignore those people, and you know what? I'm happy I did, because I found out that a lot of people like my drawings and writings, and I love making people happy. And I love my work, all of it, including 2Nu, and that's never going to change for anyone. If you don't like me for who I am, then you are not a true friend.
And that's another reason why I created this group, so that fans could converse and share their love for the pairing, something they couldn't do without problems in other Gorillaz groups. If anyone, any of you is having trouble with this, feeling pressured to be somewhat you are not, or are being bullied in any way and have nobody you could turn to, not just with this pairing, but anything, you have many good people in this group here for you, including me.
Thanks again for all of your support of the group everyone. Keep up the great work!

SOPA is Back.
I thought this was over, but apparently it isn't. For those of you who don't know, SOPA stands for "Stop Online Piracy Act" and it's targeted especially at websites like Deviant Art and people like us; artists, writers, musicians.
This act will basically FORBID us from streaming music, movies, TV, etc. But that's not the worst part. This will also forbid us from submitting any type of fan art, fan fiction, music covers, etc online, if it is considered copyright infrigement. If we are caught doing so, not only will we be banned from posting anything else online, we could also face punishments as bad as IMPRISONMENT. Yeah. Because you drew fan
Random Thought Time!!! :D
I've noticing a bunch of so called Gorillaz fans who are not seeming to know the correct ages of the Gorillaz members, epsecially Noodle. I am seeing this all over forums, DA, and Instagram, and it seems to be a main argument when it comes to discussing the 2Nu ship, whether it be the haters or the fans.
OKAY. Let's get the facts straight.
Noodle is 22 years old. In Rise of the Ogre, her official age was stated to be October 30th, 1990. So she will be turning 23 in October. I should also know this because I too, was born in 1990. :) So it's easy to keep track of her age.
2D is 35. His official birthday was also stated in Rise of the Ogre,
